Dans la ligue de Dungeonbowl, le Collège des Sorciers Gris est représenté par les Grey Shadows. Bien que l'équipe ait connu un certain succès en 2478 et 2480, lorsqu'elle a remporté la coupe du Dungeonbowl, tous les spécialistes s'accordent à dire qu'elle n'a pas encore atteint son plein potentiel. Leur manque d'esprit collectif est leur point fiable. En effet, les joueurs des Grey Shadows ont tendance à jouer chacun de leur côté, essayant de créer l'exploit individuellement plutôt que de venir prêter main forte à leurs coéquipiers.
Dans une partie qui les opposait aux Grim Reapers, par exemple, un des joueurs Snotlings de l'équipe fut attaqué par un Minotaure des Reapers. Malgré ses couinements désespérés à l'instance de deux coéquipiers Ogres qui se trouvaient seulement à 2 mètres de l'altercation, ceux-ci se contentèrent de hausser les épaules et s'éloignèrent, le laissant se faire avaler. L'avorton Gobelinoïde parvint néanmoins à étouffer le malheureux Minotaure.
